Dilworth Family Connect fosters networks within the Dilworth community to enrich the experience of families with boys attending the school.
As a parent, guardian or caregiver of a Dilworth School student, you are automatically a member of Dilworth Family Connect (DFC) and are welcome to be involved.
The DFC networks strengthen the support and friendship between Dilworth families, and between our families and the school.
Get involved in the DFC Community
We encourage you to attend DFC events and school activities to meet other people on the Dilworth journey. Dilworth life is different from other schools as there is no need for a PTA, instead everyone helps each other by sharing each others' experiences and answering questions.
Dilworth Family Connect covers a range of activities throughout the year, including:
- hosting events for the Dilworth community (Mix & Mingle social evenings, The Midwinter function, The Advent Supper etc.)
- helping at the Dilworth picnic, open days, new students and parents events
- connecting with parents and caregivers at school events.
Keep an eye on the school calendar, your email, our Facebook group page or boarding house noticeboards for details of upcoming DFC events. DFC has evolved from 30 years of the Dilworth Friendship Club. Due to a generous annual donation from the Dilworth Trust Board, we can focus on supporting our community of families.
DFC Committee
A 10-strong committee of volunteers guides the management of the DFC. Committee members have sons who are currently at Dilworth or have recently attended.
