Old Boys are eligible to apply for various grants and scholarships that provide financial assistance with further education.
1. Dilworth Trust Board Leavers Support Grants
Financial assistance may be available to those entering a full-time post-secondary school course of education or training, for up to three years. Applications need to be made to the Young Alumni Officer: alumni@dilworth.school.nz
2. Ella Burford Award
This award provides financial assistance to Old Boys for tertiary study in their third year or beyond, or for vocational training. Applications are now open for awards to be made at Founders’ Day in March 2025. Applications close on 21 February 2025.

3. The Sir David S Beattie Award
This award provides financial assistance to Old Boys involved in post-graduate work, for tertiary study or to support a specific community project.

4. The Roger & Julie France Award for Performing Arts
This award provides financial support to students or Old Boys (up to five years out of school) who are striving for a career in the performing arts.

5. The Ian Hart Award
This award provides financial assistance to current students or Old Boys striving to reach elite level in the sporting arena. Applications need to be made in September each year and successful recipients are announced the same month.
