A standout from the Class of 2021, Osian Holloway-Jones, is making remarkable strides in his academic journey. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science, specializing in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience), at the University of Auckland, Osian has always had a passion for science.
His ultimate goal is to gain postgraduate entry into clinical medicine, with a specific focus on neurology. Osian's ambition is to provide compassionate care to individuals suffering from neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, dementia, and spinal cord injuries.
This year, Osian received an Ella Burford Award, a monetary tertiary grant that will significantly support his academic pursuits. This award will enable him to fully dedicate his energy to his studies and improve his chances of realizing his career goals. The funds provided will be used to address demands associated with tuition fees and living expenses, ensuring that Osian can continue to excel in his field.
Osian's dedication to his studies and his commitment to making a difference in the field of medicine make him a great example of Dilworth School's values. We are proud to call him one of our own and look forward to seeing all that he will achieve in the future.
