Dilworth is an independent (private) boys’ boarding school for young men, Years 7-13, and offers a fully funded wraparound education. Students achieve exceptional NCEA results at a level comparable with the highest performing NZ schools and excel in sports, music, arts and cultural endeavours, and outdoor education. The school, which has an Anglican tradition, was founded by the legacy of benefactor James Dilworth in 1906 and has grown to be one of the largest boarding school in Australasia. The school is funded by an endowment which is administered by the Dilworth Trust Board, a significant owner of commercial and industrial property in New Zealand.

Dilworth School is seeking to fill a full-time role as Head of Strength, Conditioning and Athlete Development. The successful candidate will lead, develop and deliver a school-wide strength and conditioning programme as well as supporting fitness and training across the school and the PE and Health Curriculum. Through a focus on supporting curriculum, teams and individuals they will contribute to both individual students’ success and the success of the overall fitness, sports and PE & Health programme at Dilworth.  They will need to do some weekend and evening work.

We are seeking a proactive Manager - Property & Grounds Operations at our Outdoor Mangatāwhiri Campus in the Franklin Waikato District.

The Manager - Property & Grounds Operations position is a hands-on integral role that involves ensuring that all campus facilities and operations are well-maintained, repairs are promptly addressed, and long-term maintenance and capital planning requirements are met.

Te Pou o te Whare Karioi– Dilworth School

Dilworth School is seeking to fill an important part-time role for 8 hours per week as Te Pou o te Whare Karioi. This will suit a candidate who is keen to work with a particular focus on leading the development of a strong Kapa Haka.  They will also contribute to learning in and tikanga Māori across the school.

  • You will be knowledgable and passionate about Kapa Haka, and have wider tikanga Māori and Te Reo understanding to bring to the role.
